spring or shocks

My vette bottoms out and the pipes hit especially when theres two people in the car I installed new gas shocks didnt help does that mean that my mono spring is shot and should I go to the heavist rated spring and how much will that effect the ride.Should I go with the adjustable shocks Thanks

Not sure that you have given enough info to get some reliable advice. Are you running stock size tires? like 255/65/15 or are you running a lower profile? My 81 has gone from Maine to Kentucky and back with 2 people and a maxed out luggage compartment and only bottomed out the suspension a few times on a very rough I-81.
