Jan,
i dont have the color coded ones (only the ones that say what color they are supposed to be in the Shop Manual). Would that suffice? And what section are we talking about? There is a few pages in the book. :)

That's an extremely rare Corvette.

:L
Hells, bells Mike I was having a blonde moment 83 yeah right, You know it was meant to be 82CE. If I had a 83CE I would be so weathly I wouldn't need to type notes I would just snap my fingers and tell them go find me a wiring diagram so that I can figure out how to hook up a 73 fibreglass trailer. :chuckle

Hi Stefan,

It's the diagram from underneath the back end of the Corvette, it would be neat the mid center, I just need
what colours of wires that are for the brakes, the directional signals , the back up lights and the ground.
I will check with hubby when he gets home just to make
sure that I am correct. :beer
Cheers Jan and thanks so much.

Sorry for the delay, my scanner is acting up..

If someone has something for her, send away, i might be a few more days. :(

thanks so much for the trouble that you are going to for that wiring for our vintage trailer...it involves the tail lights, as this is where we will tie into for the trailer lights. I appreciate anyone who goes above and beyond to help out others. Our shop manual was stolen at a Car Show and we are lost without it. Trying to find another manual but can't find the exact one for our car.

Cant help with the wiring diagram but did find this.
Corvette Service Manual, 1982

Good luck on your project.:w

Phil

Thanks Phil for your suggestion re manuals. But the Manual we had was strictly for an 82, did not include other years, it was a treasure of information for the 82's we were lucky to find it and as I said it was stolen, and
to date have never seen another one like it. The manual you suggested is a good general one, but missing a lot of information that only pertains to the 82, and as it happens just like Murphy's Law, we always need that certain bit of information that is not in these manuals. But appreciate your suggestion and help.:thumb

Well that is the factory service manual used at the dealership for a 82 corvette. i have the same manual for my 79 along with an assembly manual and you are right they are very helpful when working on our vettes. you could probable find one a little cheaper if you look around the internet.

Jan, Mark.. I "only" have the Shop Manual (And the Assembly Manual) that Phil linked to also. It is strictly for 1982 Corvette's. Maybe i am missing something? The Shop Manual in the link (Ecklers is still pretty pricey, outsch) i have gotten from another source for around $50 a while back. ;shrug

Be happy to scan the diagram in, once i can, but i dont want to disappoint you with the outcome..

I looking in my 81 wiring diagram but didn't find anything that would resemble a trailing connection. Sorry,

Thanks anyway, we just needed to know what color wire go to the right signal, what color goes to the left signal, what color goes to the brakes, etc. Would that be mentioned in the diagram? Thanks for your help. The actual hook up to the trailer we know from towing the trailer behind another vehicle. cheers

Here's one:

Green and yellow are turn/brake lights
Brown is tail
Tan is fuel level
blue is backup

But in case I'm wrong here's a link:
