82,91 ZR-1,
What I'm looking for is if it came standard with a 1SB or 1SC upgrade and what came with the upgrade if it did..I know what options you could get in 82 just don’t know if power seats, antenna, oil temp or any of the other options can on the CE package…much like the ZR-1 option on the C4 with it you got everything.
Or was the Collectors Edition was just an appearance package??

Thanks Steve

Steve,
i believe they all came with auto everything, as well as CC1, C49, DG7, K35. The options were really only the Radio Options (all the U- RPOs, 8-Track, Cassette/CB etc)), as well as a couple of add-on's like FE7 (Gymkhana Suspension), some have V08 (HD Cooling), some have a V54 (The Roof Panel Carrier). I've only seen one with a Cali Emission (YF5).
I dont know what you are referring to with 1SB or 1SC...
Hope this helps..

Thanks any info helps..1SB & 1SC are option groups..not sure when they started using them.. but it gave the buyer a set assortment of options as a group package.

I agree with Mike (Iron82) over at the 82CE Reg, i do find out more and more the more i read about them. But his description is including all the trim, which i left out.. I dont think i have heard of a package description for the CE's. I've only know them as CE's.

Kool..been looking into one should know if I can make it happen in the next few weeks..

No such options packages available on C3s. 1SB/1SC look like C4 codes to me. The CE was a bit more than an options package since CEs had different VINs as opposed to regular production 82s.

Get you credit credit and VIN ready and contact the National Corvette Museum. They can provide a build sheet for all the cars assembled at Bowling Green. Give them your VIN, pay them, and order your build sheet.

Bummer. But still worth a try. Remember the CE has a special VIN. If records are not available from the NCM, try Allied Vaughn here on the forum (GM Media Center Archives) and see if they have a microfiche record of the dealer invoice for your car. I was able to get the dealer invoice for my '80 L-82 and was tickled pink.

Actually I found a sales brochure for the CE and it listed everything that was standard on the CE and what options were available. I also was looking thu some old VetteVeues mags and came across the write up and test drive from the 82 CE.

By the way you are right about the 1sb and 1sc codes ..They are option packages from later years.
