Need info on removing mirrors to replace gasket. Can this be accessed without removing window glass?

Kinda-sorta. You may have to take the lower window stops all the way down in order to get the door glass to lower further into the door. Nuts on the mirror mounting studs might be visible with the door glass out of the way. They are hard as the dickens to get to. A swivel head socket, various extensions, solicitation of the Almighty, and a ready supply of your FCB of choice will help.
