'84 C4 upgraded to 1995 LT1...

My friend installed an 1995 LT1 engine from a Firebird to his '84 Corvette. The previous engine was carburated so the ECM is missing. He want to connect the speed sensor, how can he do this?

Another problem is the alternator. He mentioned the 84 alternator contains the bleeder but the LT1's not. How can he solve bleeding for aletrnator in this case?

If anybody can help me I very appreciate it because we are totaly alone with problems in Hungary. Thank You.

That's some good questions...I would think that your friend has a 700R4 tranny. He may be able to adapt the electronic sensor from the 95. Although the electronically controlled 4spd auto in the 95 is basically the same as the 700, Im not sure if the speed sensor would adapt to the cluster in an 84. I was not aware of a bleeder resistor in the 84. Do you know what this resistor was for? His best bet is to get some service manuals for the 95 and chase out the electrical signals from there.
