Need some hints as to what to test to fix this problem. When making a left turn( not fast) or (not granny turn) the car will shut down. Acts like you turned off the ignition switch. It will start back up when you do a key restart. This does not happen all the time. Sometimes can not make it fail. The vette is a 84 with a auto tranny. Gas tank can be full or near empty, It does not care.:confused

Do the lights and everything else shut off or just the fuel??? :w

Sounds like a wiring problem either in the ignition switch or wires that are contacted when the wheel is turned. Maybe a wire with some chaffed insulation is being grounded in certain conditions.

This doesn't sound like fun, good luck!

Everything shuts off on the dash. Never had it happen at night, do most of the driving during daylight hours.
Also when I replace the horn button I will check all the wiring inside.
