After last weekend in Bowling Green my wife finally left the "Dark Side" and decided she liked C5's better than Mustangs. Now I finally have her blessing to buy a Z06. Before I can buy one though I have to sell my C4. Here is a copy of the ad I put on our credit union web site:

Corvette coupe with L98 350 ci motor. First year for Tuned Port Injection. I paid $9000 for this car 2 years ago, and have invested more than $2,000 in new parts. I've already done all the expensive stuff, all you have to do is drive it. Options include: Z-51 handling package, 4+3 manual transmission, Kenwood removable face plate CD player, upgraded to 17 inch wheels. Cooper tires are like new. New brake pads all the way around. I love this car, but my wife says we should buy a newer Corvette, and I just can't argue with her over that!

Located in Lexington, Ky

Now since I'm posting to a Corvette board I can get down to the nitty gritty.
Here's what I've done to this car.

Repainted the valve covers with the correct paint, replaced the vc emblem that was missing with a GM one (after a year of looking for one!). I replaced the valve cover gasket that was leaking at the same time.

I put 17" AFS Grand Sport type wheels on it with Cooper Zeon tires.

I've replaced the main AC hose and converted to R-134a

I've put upper and lower front ball joints (moog) on both sides with urethane boots.

Air pump delete, K&N filter, and cut out filter cover.

Rewired the Overdrive to bypass the ECM. When you turn the switch on, the OD is on, when you turn it off, the OD is off. I used screw-on connectors so that can be changed back in 15 - 20 minutes.

New door panels and hardware, new console lid.

I've also replaced most of the weather stripping.

The hood has a couple of cracks, and the car needs painted, but if someone is looking for a mechanically sound driver, this is a good one.

I gave too much for the car in the condition it was in but, hey, it was my first Vette and the fever overtook me.

I need to get $8500 out of it to have something to put down on a C5. If your interested drop me a line at redtek92@yahoo.com .

This car has 88,500 miles on it. Dark Bronze Metallic exterior with Bronze interior.
