85 L98 700r4 to L98 with 1993 4L60?

Hi, I was wondering if a transmission swap from a 700r4 to a 1993 4l60 from another corvette would be a direct replacement or not. If not, what would have to be done for it to work? I tried looking this up but couldn’t find anything. TIA
