Does anybody make a retrofit speedo that goes past 85MPH for an 82?

I also used Redline Gauges. They will send you a speedo housing and faceplace (140mph) for around $60.00. Once installed, you simply send your speedo back to them.

Do you really want to do this with present price of fuel?
Think how much better gas mileage you get at 85 mph than at 140 mph :-)

He's working on a correct face for the 82's at the moment. If I wanted the older face I could have had that already. Call 1-800-375-2310.

..... like YOUR car will see day-light this season..... :eyerole

Are these plug and play?or do you have to do some "ciferin" as jethro says

They are all supposed to be plug 'n play. I got (negotiated) for my 165mph in Carlisle last year and had to "tweek" it to get it accurate. Still way-cool to see a real speedo in the dash instead of the needle buried when I'm doing 75mph. When I went to the drag races I had to climb under and disconnect the old one in fear of breaking it in the 1/4 mile. Go for it. You won't be sorry.
