87 Digi ac/hrt control

Good day All, I need some help with a new digital hrt/ac control. During the recon now going on in my 87 convertible I decided to replace the controller for the ac due to the fact the digital numbers would not show 90% of the time. Well now the new on is installed and does absolutely nothing. A re-install of the older one and the results are the same. The old one was working when I removed it. Any help?

John your dealing with folks over hear that just have to push and pull to get heat.I think your in the wrong forum
