I have the opportunity to buy this car, all documented, 24k miles, automatic. Only 3 made like this. Callaway modified trans, every available option from Chevrolet. Any guesses on what this car is worth??

First, Welcome to the :CAC
Glad you found our site :)
It really depends upon the condition and history of the Callaway.

By one of 3 - do you mean it is an Automatic? There were three Automatics and four of the 4+3 stick shift cars

This automatic was for sale last year at Corvettes @ Carlisle

There was also a 4+3 car for sale in CA last fall...

One was destroyed supposedly on a train or transport, 2 are in the Mid West and another is in NC.

Let us know more details and how this goes for you -

Again, Welcome to the :CAC
Post away :m

It looks like the same car. Do you recall what they were asking or what the CA car was going for.

thanks

I think the one in CA was mid to upper 30's (37k stands out in my mind)

re: the one that was at Carlisle last year - Asking price was $39,900 there -

here is a link to a thread about the 35th Callaways we had a few mos. ago

35th link

I hope this helps :beer

Thanks, this did help. There is talk in previous posts that this car may have had front end damage. I will have it checked out.

Do you or anybody know of a reputable source in Grand Rapids MI I could have the car checked out at?

Thanks
T

Although most of my relatives are from Michigan, I do not know of anywhere - A forum member who goes by the name "HoldHard" (or Holdhard2) is in the suburbs of Detroit - maybe he can offer some insight to that.

Please check the car carefully as it has been a year since I saw it last...

Let us know how this works out for you and again, Welcome to the :CAC

I'm having a professional, who is a good friend of mine, check out the Callaway. He will be able to tell if ANYTHING has happened at any time to this vehicle. We will know for sure once and for all. I'll keep you posted.

Wise decision. Grand Rapids is 3 1/2 hours away from me.

It does look like a great car and as stated before, value is going to depend on a lot of things......
