Question: 88 Vette Transmission Swap 4 + 3 to MN6

Anyone know if it is possible to directly bolt in a 6 speed MN6 in place of the 4 + 3. without modifying the tunnel. Rear end is a G44 (3.07).

Yes and no.
ZF6 fits tunnel fine but needs hole cut for new shifter location.
With 3.07 you will never use 0.50 top gear on a ZF6
6 spd came with 3.45 / 3.54
 
I thought the 6-spd was rear mounted? Is that a problem in making it fit? Clutch diffeerences? Amy more issues?
