1987 BRIGHT RED CONVERTABLE,RED & BLACK INTERIOR,
I HAVE AN '89 VERT WITH THE OPTIONAL GM GOODWRENCH SECURITY SYSTEM. I NEED AN OPERATORS MANUAL OR THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR OPERATION/PROGRAMING. THE SYSTEM WORKS FINE, I JUST WANTED TO PROGRAM THE LIGHTS TO FLASH WHEN THE REMOTE IS USED OR THE SYSTEM IS VIOLATED WHEN ARMED. NOW THE SIREN SOUNDS BUT NO FLASHING LIGHTS.;help
IF YOU HAVE A MANUAL, KNOW WHERE I CAN GET ONE, OR YOU HAVE ONE AND WILL COPY OR SCAN IT FOR ME, PLEASE CONTACT ME BY EMAIL FROM THE FORUM PRIVATE EMAIL FEATURE.
THANKS-A-MILLION(OR SO)

To the best of my knowledge there was no factory optional security system, or a remote lock device. All it does is arm itself when you lock the drivers door with a key, and disarm when you unlock with a key. If entry is attempted without disarming it beeps the horn repeatedly for about 30 seconds then shuts off.
The dealer brochure says nothing about this, nor the drivers manual.
I had a Code Alarm aftermarket system installed that does all of those things, as well as remote start. It's an easy install just because there's not much factory stuff to bypass.
