89 Vette Battery size

Trying to find out if Optima battery will fit in a 89 vette.
There are 2 optima batteries that are are close, wondering if anyone has fit the 34/78 battery in an 89 vette????

HI there,
78 class will not fit in c4, only a 75 class will fit.
As a suggestion, you could try a 75P-7yr, which is the GM equivalent. This is the newer absorbant glass mat technology, that is used in c5, with very good results.
It carries an 18 month warranty free replacement, and prorates after that.
I have used them on c4 with very good success, and it fits the standard battery tray, with holddown.
