My electric remote door, hatch, opener will not work at all. Any ideas ?

It could simply be the electric mechanism that unlatches the hatch. Mine went out, and I replaced it. It's very simple to do, and the part is about $80 from the dealer. You might get it for less on gmpartsdirect.com Before changing it, you should probably check to see that the fuse isn't blown and there is electric current going to the mechanism. Also, if you feel around behind the carpeting that runs up the back of the cargo area to where the mechanism is, there is a wire which functions as an emergency manual release if you pull it----the owner's manual describes all this.

My rear hatch solenoid went out a couple of years ago, got a used one from corvettesalvage.com and it worked perfectly.

Yes, new battery that checks out to 12.9 volts.
