90 and 93 wheels and tires

Hello, I am thinking of using 93 vette wheels and tires on my 90. does anyone know if this will work? the 90 has 275/40zr17. the tires are the same for rear and front are 255/40zr17 on the 93. any ideas?

i would think they would be fine. i got 285 40 17's on my 87 coupe all the way around with no problems with rub anywhere. i know the later 90's series came with the 255's i think that is only for better handling so the front won't bite hard and the rear won't push out in racing conditions.

they will work fine... the smaller front wheel was for better street drivability, (and i IMO, lower cost)... if you want handling, stick with the wider front wheels.
