91 & 96 Factory Wheels

I'm thinking about buying wheels off a 96 to put on my 91.I don't care for the satin wheels.I do like the bright 96 wheels.Will they interchange without any problems???

yes and no.

your 91 has all 4 wheels that are the same size, with 275's on all 4 corners.

93-96 cars only have 4 matching wheels with Z07 or Z51 options (so wheels off of those cars will fit fine)

The standard 93-96 cars (most of them) have a smaller wheel in the front. You can either switch to the smaller wheels and tires for the front (255 tires) or get 4 rear wheels to keep it the same as the factory.

Personally, I would get all four wheels wide, like your car is now. I think the smaller front wheels and tires don't look very good... although, drivability is a bit better, and tires are a bit cheaper. To each his own on that.

I thought the 91 front was 17x9.5 and the back was 17x11 What size are the 96 wheels on the rear,if i were to go with the 4 rear wheels you recomended.Thanks for the hepl

The 91 is all 4 wheels 9.5" The 96 wheels are 8.5 front and 9.5 rear. I have a perfect set of 96 9.5 rears if you want to match them with the rears of the ones you have available.

On a ZR1 this is true. On a standard 'vette they are 9.5 all around.
