new guy at wits end. have read all threads on vats. my 92 LT1 has vats bypass but still does not start from time to time. usually if I wait a couple of minutes it will start but this time it's been 2 days and nothing. when it doesn't start the security light comes on with the other dash lights.I'm thinking it's the vats decoder module. if it is then... where is it located, how do I check it, what does it cost, and is it hard to replace??? I'd rather do it myself than have someone else work on it.
