94 Key Fob Question

This may seem like a dumb question but....Did all C4's come with remote key fob's?

I bought a 94 LT1 a month ago and the guy I bought from said he never had one for the car. If I buy one for this model will it work?? If so, what's the difference between a driver A and driver B FOB?

PKE was standard from 93-96.

Assuming everything is operational, you can program it to your car. Each fob will have a unique ID and you can program up to 3 for your car.

Lectron Products is the company that made the GM fobs. Buy that one vs. an aftermarket brand if you find one. Be prepared to spend up to $150 from a dealer or ~$60-$100 on ebay.

According to my GM parts man there not available for the 94 cp anymore,but there is a few NOS for the convertibles!! I've been looking for about 6 months now for my 94 cp, I'd Wizz on a spark plug in public if it would make'm any cheaper!!!

1994 MY was a passive system and came with only one FOB. There is no #1 & #2 Fob.
