94 Lt1 won't start

Just put new weather stripping on my 94. I pulled it out of garage with no problem . After couple of hours working on weather stripping it would not start. Nothing, but I noticed a ticking sound in the passanger side dash. When I turned key no start but the ticking sound stoped until i turned key off. Also my defroster was on. No lights radio ect. I tried to jump it but nothing. The ticking sound has gone away but car will still not start.
Any suggestions

Check the battery, might be shorted out. I left the interior light on one time for 2 days and it killed the battery. I tried jumping and a portable jump-start unit but no luck. A new battery cured all.
