Hey guys, I got the car back from the dealer and with the aid of a new computer, its up and running with a new waterpump and a new dynaspark, everything is running great so far and it feels awsome to be able to drive the car again. Finally!!! Last yeay I may have put 500 miles on it all year, this year Im diving it and enjoying it.
Thanks for the advise I got on here, this is a great place.

Congrats!
Guess the dealer had the "right stuff" this time.
Let us know how the Dynaspark works out for you.
From what I hear (w/ the Dynaspark) you can now wash down your engine w/ no ill effects. Lucky You! :D

Won’t be too much longer and you can enjoy that C4 vert even more with the top down and warm sunshine beaming in the cockpit.

Yesterday I drove it for about 45 minutes, it ran great, today I picked my daughter up for the weekend, about 3 hours round trip, ran better then I ever remember it running, smooth. Now it needs to get cleaned up and it'll be ready for spring. It feels great to finally get it back going, its been a long wait, the dynaspark is a good solid piece but Im still nervous about getting it wet, you can see the sillicone around the center and we ran a bead of rtv sealant between the block and the unit, actually put it on the backside of the dynaspark before we set it in place. Im deffinately ready for some road trips. The original opti doesnt compare to the dynaspark as far as quality goes, I'll keep you posted on the durability. If you have a 94 or earlier, then its worth the extra $150.00 for the vents. Ive seen the ones that some people have converted but these vents are built into the unit. They say they will rebuild these if they ever need it for whatever reason and when I first had a problem ( not knowing the computer was bad to ) they gave me some suggestions of things to try and they said they would send me a new one if I really thought this one was bad. By the way, with the new water pump, I dont have that reoccuring antifreeze smell after ten minutes, so far so good and Im knocking on wood.
