Does this really work well: a 95-96 cap and rotor on a 92 distributor body????? Sounds like the best of both worlds which isn't saying much!! Does the venting really help/work???;shrug

I am running this set up on my car, I found this procedure in corvette fever magazine but they moded a 92 cap by adding a vacuum fitting. At the corvette forum.com they have a tech section under the tools heading that suggested buying a cap kit for a 95-96 opti and simply replacing instead of modifying existing cap it works like a charm no problems since. I would have problems in the spring with back firing and spark knocking until it dried out. I hope this helps:beer
