95 high idle

my 95 has a high idle about 900 rpm... I replaced the tb to a bbc 52mm. , checked all vac. lines it did this before changing tb, when coming to a stop push in the clutch it will idle down to 1100 rpm stay there for a while before dropping to 900, still high. the car runs great otherwise, no sign of vac. leaks had it scanned it was ok ,no codes.... please help.. i'm stuck with this problem has anybody ever seen this kind of problem. any help would be great....thank you.... rob....

you might check the air idle control switch. make sure the butterflies are closing all the way and there are no loose bolts around the intake runners ect... ( vacume leaks).

idle problem resolved

thanks steve for the help... my high idle problem was a cruise control vacume line with a hole in it. I cant tell you how long I have been going nuts trying to figure this out. I've done everything checked everything had the car in to shops you name it. I guess if you want the job done do it yourself.... now my idle is fixed & my cruise control works for the first time... right on... thanks again......this is a great site...cac ........
