I replaced the Heating A/C module but to no avail. The original one keep slowly going out till one day it just stopped.

No display on the module and fan and A/C will not turn on.

Any other suggestions??? Is there a dedicated fuse that runs the Heat A/C Module???

Thanks for any help you can give me. Kidd

what are you calling the "module" ? The control panel inside the car?
Please describe the part that you replaced and where its located. The system has several control pieces located in different places and yes, every electrical system has a fuse of its own.

The Heater A/C temperature control panel at the top center of the dash. It's the one I set the temperature and A/C with. Climate Control. I put another unit in...it has a light in the little window that usually shows the temp...but no temp shows. So...it has power but does not work or turn on a fan. No heat, no a/c or defroster. No fan turns on.

Thats only a display. Its not a power source. I am not familiar with your yr model, but I am certain that there is a power module located elsewhere. What you changed is the "control head".

my 90 has a A/C Heater programmer. it is located under the dash on the drivers side. hard to get to but it can be done. I am not saying its your problem , but it is a part that fails.

You;re darn sure right about hard to get to....lol.

That, and the blower/power module are the major power or control parts. Unfortunately I have an intimate understanding of the c-4 a/c system....

I'm so glad you have an intimate understanding of the C4 A/C Heating...but could someone please answer my question? So far all I've gotten is that I replaced the "control head" and I have to look for the "A/C Heater programmer" under the dash and the "blower power module" somewhere on the vehicle.

Fuses

On the passenger side of the car is the fuse panel. Open the passenger door and look at the end of the dash you will see the panel door. Take the door off and look on it's backside were you find a fuse chart. On that chart it tells what each fuse is for along with it's location and amp size.

On my 93 it lists a 10 Amp fuse for the A/C Compressor Clutch:Heater and A/C Control Head; Heater and A/C Programmer. There is also a 5 amp fuse for the A/C Programmer.

Under the hood are two seperate fuse blocks one has the A/C Blower fuse in postion 4 it is a 30 amp fuse. The other fuse block has a power accessary fuse that includes the Power Lock, Hatch, Cigar, Power Seats, A/C Programmer. If any of those five things are working then that fuse is not your problem.

I think this is the information you were looking for.

Check them out and let us know what you find.

:welcome

A Corvette is a car just like any other car and the basics apply. I usually start to trouble shoot with the cheap things first like bad connections, fuses, bad vacuum etc. You will receive a ton of help on this forum from people who have an intimate knowledge of these cars. I would suggest that you invest in the Field Service Manual for your car.
