When I was taking off my broken header last week, I found my EVAP Vacuum Switch has two tubes, one plastic and one rubber. They are open to the atmosphere! Since I have had two head swaps and header fix in the last 6 months. I don't know how long it was off. I took off the intake manifold trying to find tubes back there to match it, but I couldn’t find one. I looked at the service manual but the cartoon drawing are of no help, neither is the text. Maybe it is supposed to vent to atmosphere but just want to make sure. So I am posting the pictures hoping you guys can help. Please, if you have a 97 or 98 take a look at your car and tell me where they go. Thanks

HI there,
Actually, your lower rubber piece is your vent for the switch, and does not attach to anything.
And the other is NOT used, and is not attached also.
As you have it in the picture, that is how it is installed on the engine.
Allthebest, c4c5
