Its 5 years old. That is not alot of mileage.

You will save much money on purchasing it due to the deduction for that mileage on a Corvette.

I only consider buying high mileage cars and have fared very well doing that.

I love my 97 C5,Artic White, Grey Int. (Snow White, That what I named her - LOL) - I have 40,000 miles on it. It is
Like a driving new car, still. I had a problem with the roof rattling and creaking, but our C4C5specialist, solved that fast for me. Buy it I think you will love it.
Good luck,
Bob

At 70k, I'd think any problems would've been discovered (and fixed) by now. And with the advances in design and technology, it's not like it's on its last legs.

C5 - Creaking and Rattling Roof, How I fixed.

It is pretty easy. It might take a couple of trys to get it perfect.
1. Remove roof.
2. Have a 10 mm wrench.
3. locate the 2 bolts that hold the latch bracket to the windshield frame, loosen the bolts.
4. Adjust the bracket up or down to correct rattle and creaking.
Note: I found that for the best results I placed the bracket about 1/8 inch below the windshield frame top, and angeled the bracket a little lower towards the door sides. It took me 3 trys to get it right.
This corrected my problem.

C4C5specailist might have more information and better terms than I have used.

I think that you would be just fine buying the car. Like Jim said if there were any problems it should be taken care of. You might want to run the vin on it to be sure that it was not in any accidents or something else. Better being safe than sorry.
