98' Daytona Pace Cars

I was just looking into C5's for my next Corvette and was wondering how many Daytona Pace cars were made. I've only seen one yellow/white on the road. There is a pic of a red/white one here http://corvetteactioncenter.com/cgi...97_-_2004/1998&image=pacevette.jpg&img=24&tt= They look SWEET! I didn't even see one when I was at Bloomington Gold. How rare are these?

Check out the 98 Indy Pace Cars too. I absolutely love mine. It's a good eye catcher at the shows and on the road too. They aren't exactly popular either!!

I've seen some really nice Indy pace cars. How can you not look at them? I think they'd be in my top 5 C5's.

Does anyone know how many Daytona Pace Cars were made? I think they made a red/white, yellow/white, and blue/white. Are they auto or six speed? I'm interested in finding as much info as possible. I still have some time before I'm ready for a C5, but researching is "almost" as much fun as buying.....

I've got a few C5's to investigate, but this one seems like a good C5 to find. Thanks for your posts!
