Vehicle: 1990 Coupe - L98
I have a question. The insulation on the A/C hoses and pipes has deteriorated badly. A friend of mine suggested just buying some regular pipe insulation at the local Home Depot ... the kind that has the sticky tape on the edges where the insulation is split to slide it over the pipe ($2.00 for a 6 foot length). Will this stuff work? Will it withstand the heat under the hood? Is there a better product? If so, where can I find it?
