A/C compressor doesn't turn. Only 40 psi on the low side (R12 system) static so I'm sure its low on R12. I think I've found the leak but would like to determine if the compressor is good before I start the conversion and before I have the R12 sucked out. I would like to know if I can jump the pressure switch to make sure the compressor is good. There seems to be three pres switches, two on the high side one one the low side. I tried each individually and nothing happened. Any suggestions?

By the way, just had my first shot at a 1/4 mile. Dead stock 90 Coupe six speed with cut air filter, ditched the frisbee, and complete tuneup including wires, cap, rotor. Much to my surprise, I turned a 13.9 at 100 mph. Is this typical for a L98? Seems like LT 1 time to me. The thing really launched 1800 RPM, feather the clutch for about one length and put the pedal to the metal.

Thanks in advance for any advise on the a/c compressor.

Ron
