Hi again,

One more thing. My A/C stopped working a few days ago. The clutch does not engauge. The Haynes manual says to check the A/C fuse and relay under the hood. The fuse is OK but I cannot find the relay.

Does anyone know where this relay is located?

Any other suggestions as to what might cause this?

Thanks again.

Mike

Most likely it needs to be charged...if you have no freon the clutch will not engage...Its a safty feature...check for leaks and refill.

I thought of this and disconected what appeared to be the freon pressure sensor and shorted the wires to make it think that there was freon in the case that there was not. This did not turn on the compressor either.

Should this of worked or is this not a way of testing wheather or not low freon is the cause of the problem?

Thanks again.

Mike
