Well, it's spring time here in AZ - we had our 1st 100 degree day yesterday. On my way home with the A/C up on 3 - 4, I noticed some water coming up from the cowl onto the windshield - near the center of the steering wheel. It only seems to do it at higher speeds (60 +), but it seemed worse yesterday. I've searched all over the place here but can not find the topic for A/C on here.

My question is: is this normal, or is my drain plugged up. If it is plugged up, how do I clear it out? I'm out of warantee, so I'd like to do it myself as long as I don't have to disassemble 1/2 the car to do it.

Thanks.

Hello on my 1998 will leak windshield washer fluid onto the windshield during heavy accelleration, sometimes on both sides maybe theres a check valve bad.

I have this problem on my 02 vert also.

It does it on my '03 ZO6 under medium to hard acceleration. After the fluid reservoir goes down a bit, it stops.

In a brief moment of inattention, I let the dealer fill the reservoir to the top with washer fluid again. It'll go go down in level and the water will go away on my windshield. Been there, done that.

Makes sense - I did fill up the washer fluid last week - glad I don't have a potentail problem - thanks for the replies!
