Hello everyone,
First off I'd like to thank everyone here for sharing their knowledge and making this site informative. There is a wealth of information on this forum for all to utilize and that deserves many thanks.
Now, my question is will an '85 a/c wiring hardness fit an '86. Also does the engine wiring hardness for an '86 have the connecting wires for the starter. I bought an '86 vette with the following wires either completely damaged or the protecing plastic melted but functional (due to unkwon extreme heat and not a fire):
a/c(the protecting palstic was melted, some wires were damaged)
starter(the protecting palstic was melted but still functional)
coolant temperature sensor(damege, on the right hand side underneath the head)
I found a/c wires for an '85 on ebay as well as the enigine wiring hardness for an '86 and I want to make sure I can use them as replacements before I buy them. Many thanks for the info![Smile :) :)](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png)
