A.I.R. Tube on 86

As I drove home from work yesterday I started to hear what sounded like a small hole in the exhaust. When I looked underneath I noticed a small tube was loose at the passenger side of the Cat.

What is it? what does it do?

I looked it up, and it is the AIR tube.

It sends (injects) air into the exhaust so that the catalytic converter can work more efficiently.
