I can't remember........ are they painted to match the car or raw metal? Painted I assume.

They are black painted metal. I just used IBIZ that I bought at Carlisle and WOW..I might have found the answer!!!!! They look good, no oily streaks...

oh good, that makes it easy.
I was going to suggest maybe having them wetsanded down and buffed out to really bring the gloss of the paint out but what you found is MUCH easier! :beer

Andy,
I was going to suggest using "Black Chrome". I forget who makes it, you use it on the black window trim. I used to use it on my T/A years ago, and it was a nice touch to shine up the black trim.

yes, plan on being there......... as long as the weather holds out of course.

BTW Andy, I can't set up a vendor table at Smithville for the blankets BUT as long as I'm there I'm going to pass out more flyers and brochures and will have a sample blanket there incase anyone is interested in seeing one - i'lll bring the one I had last week with Baby on it. Can you think of anyway to show it off that would work easily? Linda and I can't think of anything simple to just hang it all stretched out but will also fit in the vette.
If we had the tent with us it would be easy but I don't think we are taking the tent to Smithville.
