I was putting a replacement radio in my vette the other day and decided it would be easier if the t tops were off. It would give me more light and a bit more room to move around while removing the gauge bezel. Long story short when my friend was putting the driver side t top back on he dropped it and it gashed a chunk of vinyl/foam out of the a pillar between the front window and side window. :mad

This doesn't appear to be a removable part. At least not easily. Is there anything I can fill the missing chunk of foam in with and then spray vinyl repair over it. Then just dye it the correct color? Someone suggested bondo, but that really doesn't sound like an option. Any ideas?

they are removable. If memory serves me right it's just 2 screws holding it on
There are replacements out there. Look for A-pillar interior trim.
If you want to go the cheaper route, there are vinyl repair kits made for this but I won't say they are easy. Bondo isn't going to flex so it will crack over time, it's not made for that kind of repair.
If it were me, I would just order a replacement

Mine were cracked from age... so I covered them with vinyl from a fabric store. Not the best looking, but until I get replacements, they'll do.

You can get foam too.. and cut it to replace the chunk that is missing. I used 3M spray glue for interior applications to put everything together.
