My driver side rear TMS is slow to respond. The other three work as soon as I take off. This one takes several minutes, sometimes not working at all. Will occasionally set off the warning on my dash. Works better on the interstate, however still slow.

Any input before I buy a new sensor?

Thanks,
Mike

Thanks...

Thanks C4C5Specialist,

I am a first time Vette owner and this web site is amazing. I have spent hours reading and find great advice from you on many posts. You and this web site have been very helpful.

Thanks,
Mike

mike,
You could give it a shot at retraining the sensor first.
If that doesn't straighten it out then you could replace it.
If those are the original sensors on your 97 then they may be getting close to croaking on you. :) Life span is around 7-10 yrs.

Thanks ROCKnROLL, I have retrained my sensors again and again and it did not work. Works OK for now, will replace when I buy new tires.......
