I don’t know why but I went through a stock pump about every year. I finally decided to go with a racing style of pump . A KRC pump from I believe Sweet or something like that. I got it through Coleman racing. It is a light weight small pump with a large inlet from a remote resovoir and a normal #6 outlet .
It is extremely versatile in that it can be bolted to any aluminum plate and that plate bolted to whatever.
Here is my homemade ½ inch thick plate and 3 standoffs screwed into the block. By adjusting the length of the standoffs I align the pulley.
I have run this pump for 4 or 5 years now. It is about 100 psi more then our pumps and safely can be spun to 9000 rpm. It has a large pulley, a trick looking pulley that looks like titanium but I don’t believe it is.
The pump is very light, small and can be adapted to anything.
The motor still is not cleaned up in the front.
