A4 Transmission on Y2K Vert

Seems I have to pull my transmission to replace a worn bushing and several leaking seals. Any suggestions on mods I should consider while I have it out?;help

Any suggestions on a better quality aftermarket auto-tranny for my Vette. This repair is costing over $1500. I just do not want to overlook an opportunity to step up to something better with that money.:W

I would suggest upgrading to a GM SRTA.
It comes with a better warranty and has all the latest updates.
3yr/100k warranty.
Make sure to use Dexron 6 transmission fluid.

If you are going to go through the pain of dropping your tansmission, there are better choices out there than OEM.

I have an FLT L5, but that is probably overkill if your car is basically stock. If you are on a budget, a routine service and addition of a Transgo shift kit to your stock 4L60-E is worth considering. Either way, the Dexron VI is a good idea (RPM recommends synthetic).
