Hi, a while ago I wrote into the forum about my AC/CCM fuse blowing out. Vigman correctly suggested the problem was likely to be down to the AC compressor clutch or relay. I removed the relay and the fuse stays intact so at least I can use the heater and the CCM functions.
My question is this? I have looked under the dash and under the hood for signs of a short but everything looks ok. However the compressor clutch is very hard to turn by hand. The system has been out of freon for some time I think.
Does anyone know if the increased load due a partially seized clutch would cause the fuse to blow?
Thanks fellow vetteheads.
