AC compressor fuse

Hey guys, I have an 05 Vette and i just replaced the AC compressor with a used one. The AC was working fine for about a week after a put the used compressor in. Now, the AC fuse blow's out when i cut the AC on. Sometimes it last for a couple of hours than blow out. I checked the connector wires to the compressor and everthing seems fine. Any suggestions?

If that year still uses the diode across the compressor connector leads...check to make sure that the diode hasn't gotten all twisted up. If those diode leads touch it'll pop the fuse instantly.

Look at the wire going to the clutch very carefully. Had a couple GMs that wore a spot in the insulation.
