My cousin had to stick a piece of ice maker hose up in his evaporator to knock the crud loose so it would drain! Then he blew it out with a compressor then squirted Lysol up in there!
I had this problem on my 1999 C5 coupe - the backed-up / overflow a/c condensate water entered the computer compartment in the RH footwell and ruined the computer - imobilizing the car (while I was out-of-state, on vacation).
Raise the RF of the car and use a jack stand (or lift....). With the engine completely cool, you can see and reach the rubber drain elbow which is mounted on a plastic nipple that exits the firewall on the right side, at the rear of the engine head. It is a little hard to reach, but with the engine cool, it can be done. It is virtually impossible to reach from above, although it can be seen.
Pull the rubber elbow off the nipple and clean the elbow out. It will probably be clogged and full of white, crusty material. The end is moulded into a small shape which slows the water draining and is prone to clogging. Cut of the small end and reinstall the elbow in the nipple.
This is a common problem during hot, humid weather. Good luck. If you need more advice, just ask.
