active handling issues

i have a 2003 and i am getting active handling errors. Its codes 1287 and 1288.... can anyone help me

Does the active handling light on the dash come on and it's disengaged? I had the same problem on my 2001 and it was the steering censor on the steering column. Had to take it to the dealership :W $300 parts & labor. Hope this helps you.

Thanx for the reply..... It is the steering sensor...YAAAHHOOOOOO!!!!!!! Whole steering column has to come out....Oh well...... winter project
