Adding Back up lights

:crazy Changed the existing back up lights to work with brakes, and turn signals with lenses to all red. Bought a set of lights to add for back up lights and I am having a tough time getting the wiring sequence to function in the correct manner. HELP, before I lose it.
 
Man, I intended to reply to this post earlier, but somehow forgot.

First, check your local laws. Changing the light configuration is often illegal.

Second, if the legal folks give the green light, get a wiring diagram. It will tell you exactly which wire goes where.

I changed to "bubble tail lights" which was wiring in the inner lights parrallel to the outers and added a backup light tucked in under the license plate I used the "hot" wire from the origional backup light connection to the switch on the trans(not origional) then ran a wire to the light and grounded the light to the frame.
simple effective and no more bumping into the wifes car at night
