Aero Turbine mufflers?

I'm not sure about that. The explanation sounds like they are attempting to violate some laws of physics, but it may be the explanation that is lacking, not the concept.

I agree - the explanation is a bit dodgy. I'd love to know exactly what the "proprties of heat transfer" are supposed to be.... not that I'm saying the concept is bad.
Mind you, it's all too easy to get excited by things like this - look at the performance data. With a judicious selection of a good scale on those graphs, it looks like this thing's a miracle device. But in fact the average HP increase is around 2 or 3 hp and the ft lbs similar. You could expect this type of increase with most good free-flowing exhausts.
Blind someone with science and they'll practically start throwing money at you.. :)
