Has anyone purchased AFS wheels and had them shipped to Canada? AFS is telling me that the shipping costs and taxes will be ridiculous and that no one really buys from Canada. Im looking for a set of ZR1 rims and new tires.

Go visit for a weekend and take them to a tire store and have the wheels mounted and then drive home. What are the chances that Canadian Customs might remember your car going into the US with the wheels that were on it??
Customs fees and taxes would probably eat up a big chunk of money, not to mention the shipping but I don't think the shipping charges are going to be be that high. It's still based on weight, package size, and the distance.

Try Discount Tire or even a Les Schwab store. Tell them you want AFS Wheels specifically.
You may have to make two trips; one to order the wheels and pay for them and the second to get them installed.

I did that with a bunch of parts, my 5 year old daughter claimed 650 in vette parts, gifts for daddy.
