aftermarket seats

i need seats for my vette i was going to buy the foam and backs and the whole works but holy moly they are spendy with the low cockpit clearance will aftermarket seats work if so which ones the owner that had my vette before me put seats in from a diff car and it sits to high (one higher than other lol)

If you're looking for factory type seats, then this THREAD probably won't interest you, but they do look like a nice set

DarkShark (Johnny) is BUILDING a 1980 HIS WAY and it do look nice and Johnny is documenting it as he goes and provide great help around here too, JUST wish he'd moved up one more year to an '81 hey we love him anyway

Thanks Bud!- I didn't have the heart to strip the CCC system from an L81. That would be heresy!

Mike- I have found a set of seats that DO fit the C3. PM me and I'll fill you in on the details. I actually have them up for sale because I'm changing the direction of my project.

I'm in the process of swapping C5 seast into my '68 vert. I'm not exactly sure what I'm in for, but I know a lot of guys have done this before.
