Air Conditioning Duct Work

I am in the process of rebuilding the duct work for my heater and air conditioning. Does anyone know what size roll insulation should be placed between the pieces? :confused

Also, has anyone had any luck with a particular brand. I have been told to use 3M brand but am having a difficult time locating it in the north Atlanta area.

I tried what they had at Lowes and the adhesive is just not very strong, I think 1/2 inch wide by 3/16's height. When I put the two pieces together the insulation rolls off the plastic. ad

I would contact Dr Rebuild, they have a complete kit with all the seals that you need. All cut and prefit to make the job easy.
