My 67 a/c coupe has the vent cable (the one down by the driver's right knee) but it appears to be frozen shut. I never had a 67 a/c car before, but I assume they are supposed to work and open the fresh air vent, right?
Any suggestions and/or help would be appreciated here. Thank you.:w

Denney,

yep, fresh air vent, and probably just needs to be lubed? you need to get at it from the backside and from underneath the car - shoot some WD40 or something on it if you can get to it

Not too difficult to remove, I'd take it out where you can get to it properly, shoot some WD-40 down both ends of the cable and work it back and forth until it frees up. The best way to do a good job, IMO.
