Stupid me, took the front console off and disconnected the trim plate. Now putting back together I cannot figure out where the on/off vent cables connect. It is an early 69 with metal knobs. Under the brace about 4 inches down cable on both sides is a small plastic eye that connects outer part of cable and allows you to move iknob back and forth moving inner cabl and opening and closing vent.
I cannot for the life of me figure out where these eyelets hook too? Not sure if it was a screw that held them in place or did I take something off that they mounted to. No place obvious to hook them to. Would appreciate any help I can get
