Airbag Light Problem

I am having a problem with the airbag light. After taking my steering wheel apart and putting it all back together the airbaglight blinks 7 times than stays on. It is supposed to shut off. Anyone know what the problem is? Thanks

Check with your dealer. There was a TSB re: corrosion on the front sensor.

was the light on before the streering wheel came off ?if not there must be a loose connection at the bag when you put it back together or some kind of damage done to the connecter.if it was always on you would need a scan tool to access the codes Steve
